Welcome to our family-friendly campground in Saint-Maime
As soon as you arrive at our family-friendly campground in the Luberon, the front desk will welcome you and provide you with your identification wristband and a map of the campground. Our staff speaks several languages and is available to provide information about activities, the region’s tourist attractions, and all the campground’s services. A tourist information desk is at your disposal, and practical information will be sent to you before your arrival so you can plan your stay with peace of mind. If you’re arriving late, just let us know. If needed, an emergency number is posted on the reception door. The campground is secure and offers a mobile app and a digital welcome guide to make your stay easier.
3-star services and amenities with wheelchair access
La Rivière Campground in the Luberon offers a wide range of services (grocery store, Wi-Fi, on-site dining and takeout, and more) designed to make your family’s stay as enjoyable as possible. All of the campground’s facilities are accessible to people with limited mobility, including the pool area, sanitary facilities, and our 2-bedroom (35 m²) wheelchair-accessible Mobile home, which is fully wheelchair-accessible.
For any questions or special requests, a receptionist is available to assist residents at the campground’s front desk. The reception desk is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in July and August
and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. the rest of the year.
To ensure that everyone can enjoy their vacation with peace of mind, we offer a mail service (daily pickup), a laundry facility (washer and dryer), and a self-service library.
Since enjoyable meals are an integral part of any vacation, we strive to satisfy the tastes of all our guests. For those who enjoy cooking, our campground near Oraison offers a small grocery store with a bread counter (June 1 through August 31) and a barbecue area (all you need to do is bring your own charcoal). For everyone else, there’s a bar, our beach hut, and a full range of dining options (June 30 through August 31).
Enjoy an extensive and varied menu, ranging from homemade and regional dishes to a selection of light bites and more refined fare, including homemade burgers and the chef’s specialties…
Our farm campground in the Luberon offers a wide variety of on-site entertainment and activities, with the company of our new four-legged mascots, Marius and Marco, our donkeys, not to mention Lucky, our new pony.
Activities and events from July 1 to August 31, every day except Saturday:
- Mornings from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (for children ages 4 to 10) after a morning workout in the swimming pool or on our multisport field. Activities on the schedule: Olympic-style games, arts and crafts, treasure hunts, land art…
- Afternoons from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (for teens and adults). On the schedule: volleyball, table tennis tournament, soccer, water polo, and swimming pool games…
- In the evenings, a variety of activities are available: dance parties, shows with themed dinners every Thursday (featuring guest performers), bingo, karaoke, music trivia, family games, pétanque tournaments, quizzes, and night swimming pool…
Rental Equipment and Add-Ons: Even More Convenience
To make your stay even more comfortable, La Rivière Campground offers a variety of rental items:
- Sheets and towels kit: €17 for a single bed / €35 for a double bed
- Refrigerator: 5 €/day (stored together in a secure room; adapters available for loan)
- Crib: 5 €/day
The showers at the pitches operate using a wristband issued at the front desk: 2 showers per day, with 6 minutes of water per person. A deposit of 10 € per wristband is required.

Accessible shops near the campground in Saint-Maime
Saint-Maime and the surrounding area offer everything you need for a self-catering vacation. The towns of Manosque and Forcalquier, both accessible by car, offer shops, markets, and restaurants. The Forcalquier market is held every Monday morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies, and doctors’ offices are all within 15 minutes of the campground.
