Close to nature: direct access to the river from the campground
The Largue is a wild, unspoiled river that runs alongside the La Rivière campground. The setting is peaceful, ideal for relaxing and taking a dip in the cool, natural water. Dogs are welcome at the water’s edge.
Some practical information: There are no docks, jetties, or lifeguard stations along this stretch of the river. Swimming is therefore at your own risk, and this area is not accessible to people with limited mobility.
Fishing enthusiasts will also enjoy the tranquility of the riverbanks as they cast their lines, along the water’s edge and far from the hustle and bustle.
Wake up to a view of the river from your rental
Some of the rental units and campsites at La Rivière Campground offer a direct view of the river. Pitches 401 through 406, marked by ropes rather than hedges, are located along the banks of the Largue River, providing a total immersion in nature.
For vacation rentals, several Mobile homes and other accommodations are situated to take full advantage of this exceptional setting. Discover our selection of accommodations— Mobile homes, chalets, unique lodgings, and group accommodations—in the Luberon, and choose your favorite view: river or garden!
Fishing at a riverside campground in the Luberon
The Largue River is also a playground for recreational anglers. In addition to our private fishing pond on the campground grounds, you can try your luck fishing in the river from the banks.
The waters of the Largue are teeming with fish. Anglers regularly catch wild trout there. Grab your fishing rod, bait, and hooks, and cast your line… Trout and carp are sure to take the bait in no time. Be patient and stay alert, because in these bountiful waters, a great catch can happen at any moment!
Staying at a campground with a fishing pond with family or friends is also a great opportunity to introduce your children to this exciting hobby. They’ll quickly start having fun imitating their parents and will be very proud to reel in their first catch!
And if you’re looking to enjoy a variety of water activities (canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking), head to Lake Vannades or Lake Buissonnades, less than 10 km from the campground. Round out your stay with our swimming pool area.
